L'intento di rappresentare il proprio alter ego artistico, di fare un autoritratto non del corpo ma di quel che contiene, mi ha portato ad un enigma. Questo dipinto è una riflessione su come l'identità di una persona (compresa di tutte le sue sfaccettature) possa mutare in molteplici fazioni persistenti e conviventi, unite da un meccanismo di dolore, rivelazione e, a volte, caos. Ed è anche l'esempio di come il lasciarsi portare dall'esigenza creativa (sperimentazioni pittoriche, di nuovi colori e tecniche...) possa sospingerci su lidi inaspettati.
The intent is to represent an artistic alter ego, to make a self-portrait not of the body but of what it contains, and it is led me to an enigma. This painting is a reflection on how a person's identity (including all its facets) can change into multiple persistent and cohabiting factions, united by a mechanism of pain, revelation and, sometimes, chaos. And it is also an example of how letting oneself be carried away by creative needs (pictorial experiments, new colors and techniques ...) can push us to unexpected shores.
